Well i have a lot to say about facebook and i will save that for another post...For now watch this video..
So apart from the fact that you feel sorry for the two people..one also might have been annoyed as to the viewing..for those of you wondering why Jane smith's chat window is about to type "hi jane"initially-it is cause its on the guys screen that he sees jane smith written and so its him typing on the right and her on the left...
I suggest one just view the screens alternately looking at the screen in which one is typing....
I guess what i learnt from the video is that chat or any other medium will not be able to duplicate what one is feeling ..no matter how many emoticons one uses..the real face-face talk can never be beaten by the best videoconferencing available...I guess thats because situations in one place can never be duplicated and even if one does in the future build communication ways replicating more than sight and sound..one can never replicate the air between two people..in the sense that when two people are sitting next to each other we can feel the mood of the other person..call it waves emanating from another or whatever..sadly chatting will dominate future dating as people become more and more dependent on the internet for everything...and as the world becomes more and more "flat"...
