In "Human" Resources

The human resources of most organizations are a function of management. HR is there for the business not for you. So if you still cling on to the notion that HR is for you. Then forget it. It is NOT.
Although in some cases it might be. Simply put if you are an employee then No and if you are the management then Yes.






That is why people with incompetent bosses leave. Because as much as the HR is for you to help deal with your boss they are there for your boss to deal with you.
And since you are just an employee HR will not be on your side when it comes to that. They will always favor the management over you.

So important things for one to remember is :-

1. Do NOT think of HR as your best friend or someone who you could share your problems with.

2. Disclosing financial and medical problems are a strict NO-NO.

3. Do NOT make friends with HR on online social networks.

4. Do NOT reveal how much fun you had on your leave.

5. Do NOT bitch about your boss to the HR. Remember HR is a two way channel between you and your boss.

6. Human Resource people are usually inhuman.
